New Hampshire GOP Debate

No link.

I hope Palin and West are just waiting it out;
let these guys beat each other up first.

Not that Bachman and Cain wouldn’t get my vote,
but the above are my top picks.

*

no offense, but until “the Lady” is there, I have DVD’s to rewind

*

This is all about who can out-Reagan and out-God the other.

I’m betting on Bachmann for the God-pandering, with Santorum a close second, and Pawlenty for the Reagan-pandering, again with Santorum in second.

--- Oh my god, they've become self-aware!

*

Since it’s on CNN and it’s a GOP debate, you know there’s going to be a question on “Do you believe in evolution?” or “Should evolution be taught in schools?” in order to make the candidates look “intolerant”.

*

All candidates should utterly disregard any question they are asked and focus soley on attacking Obama. It’s just going to be a bunch of gotcha questions anyhow.

--- Again using the term "a gotcha question" to mean "any question".

*

I KNEW they’d put Cain and Bachmann on the ends. The media is pushing Newt and Romney down our throats, so they get the middle spots.

*

I'm not watching this crap, no one on that stage has a shot at the Oval Office, maybe Cain has a shot for VP.
Bunch of losers.

*

Elections: The opiate of a once free people.

*

When are the American people going to ask why did Mittens spend 130million for a 400K job in ‘08 and why is he doing it again?

*

audience stacked with rinos

*

"Obama is a one term President!"

We can only hope there's fair elections. Heck, we can only hope there are elections next time.

*

I thought Romney was the enemy but now that Bachmann is in it looks like the attacks will shift to her. If Palin supports think so highly of her and her chances (if she runs) why the need to take pot shots against Bachmann? Usually when people go after someone it’s because they’re afraid of them. Isn’t that what Rush says all the time about the MSM and their attacks on Palin?

*

My God, Michelle Bachmann is beautiful! I didn't realize how beautiful she is.

*

Gingrich is easily the brightest and most successful politician on that stage, he orchestrated seizing control of Congress from the marxists in 94 , and deserves our thanks and gratitude.
He of course has no shot at the White House due to his personal life and the high negatives he generates, but its good that he is there to present the conservative case in a clear and concise manner.

He's no phony son of a bitch like that liar and coward from a family of liars and cowards Romney, and hes also not one step ahead of the butterfly nets like Paul or the morgue like Pawlenty.

Bachman has a lot of balls being up there, she needs more seasoning, but is a prospect, and also will do a good job in agitating for Tea Party values and against the Washingtonians.

Cain is a wild card, he talks the talk, and would make for an unbeatable ticket if he is the VP candidate with Palin.

I'd like to see him in a VP debate against that glad handing psycho SOB Biden, Cain is clumsy because hes new to the political game, Biden has no excuse.

*

Cain is a major threat to Obama’s image. An African-American who challenges the liberal ideas and can take Zero to the woodshed. I would love to see him in a debate with Obama. I swear, Cain would probably take off his belt and whoop him with it.

*

Bachmann is doing better than I expected so far. I thought she’d be really nervous being the only woman on stage but she’s holding her own so far.

*

King says applause takes away time yet asks the dumb ass question “Elvis or Johnny Cash?”

WTF???

--- Can't say I disagree too much with this point.

*

To: Winstons Julia
Anybody candidate with an ounce of self respect should be making their exit about now.
John King is obviously making them out to be fools.

*

Bachman is not the 1st woman to be in a debate

Hillary was 1st in 2008

*

I don't care how good Bachmann is tonight, she can't even manage a campaign.
Sarah Palin is responsible for her even being in office.Sarah campaigned with her fund raised for her shes in office due to Sarahs' efforts! Bachmann was dumb enough to hire Ed Rollins, a known rino loser, and then she lets him run wild saying crap about Palin!! What kind of manager is that?

*

"It appears that the internet and 24 hour news time has changed announcement dates."

Or, announcing that early was what that unknown Affirmative Action candidate (with a level of experience that would have been laughed at if he had been a white male) needed to get the name recognition he required to get some traction.

America fell for Affirmative Action once and got a severe case of buyer's remorse. I predict that America will not fall for Affirmative Action a second time.

The internet and 24 hour news time not only builds name recognition. Stay under that magnifying glass long enough and it ultimately destroys you as the early candidates form a circular firing squad and the media vultures attack.

*

Bachmann just said Obama is “far more eloquent” than she is...uh, no!

*

o crap Bachmann does the 0bama pandering.............
booooo!

*

Palin is brilliant to avoid this pre-game warm up show

*

[Cain saying no Sharia] was a good answer. But why didn’t any of the candidates object to the question itself? The words “separation of church and state” appear NOWHERE in the Constitution.

*

Romney (foolishly) has no worry about Sharia law. He basically said “It can’t happen here.”

*

Cain - wouldn’t be comfortable with a muslim in his cabinet. Too many out there want to kill us. He believes in AMERICAN laws. Muslims have tried to influence American courts with shia law.

Audience cheered.

Cain - wants someone committed to the Constitution.

King is trying to twist Cain’s answer. Jerk.

All of them would run circles around Obama in a fair debate.

All of these folks know what they are talking about.
They can elaborate and don’t just rely on memorized answers.
I’d rather have any of them in the WH right now!

*

I AM SICK TO DEATH OF TRYING TO TELL THESE IDIOTS THAT THERE IS NO THING CALLED THAT IN OUR CONSTITUTION. [sep of church and state]

That phrase goes back to the commie manifesto of 1963.

The left have hammered that phrase so much that people just say it but every time I ask them where does it state that they have a blank stare

*

"The phrase “separation of church and state” actually goes back to a letter from President Thomas Jefferson in the early 1800s."

Find the letter and read it. In the letter, Jefferson is trying to reassure the Minister that the Constitution sets up a wall of separation between Church and State in order to protect the rights of everyone to freely practice their religion.

The left in this country have completely reversed Jefferson's meaning.

*

"Rick Santorum is qualified to be president because HE was born here. It doesn’t matter where his parents were born or if they are U.S. citizens or not"

Oh yes it does matter

If his parentsa were not born in the US or American citizens at the time of his birth he is not eligible

Barrys father was not an American citizen when he was born so Barry is not eligible to be POTUS

*

[discussing whether Palin's voice would be a problem for her running]

a) Exactly: Palin has been working on her voice you can tell through recent interviews and

b) There’s authenticity behind her voice...It’s like the difference between Obama and MLK Jr. Obama has a decent voice, but there’s no heart behind what he says. No *real* deep seated passion or conviction. Just air.

*

CNN after the debate said that the Republicans were getting away from war all the time, part because McCain is all about war all the time, and he wasn’t in the debate like last time.

Also, these are Obama’s wars now. And being against military action in Libya is being against Obamas foreign policy. That’s the Socialist Obama. Ron Paul is against his foreign policy. You are in favor of the Socialist Obamas foreign policy?

  2. After the pre-Palin "blood libel" from a previous post, along with the strange obsession with Palin here, have you ever wondered how much astroturfing Palin does amongst the freepers? And do you have anything that might explain why exactly they love "The Lady" so much?

Funny, I remember a whole lot of folks asking the same thing of Meg Whitman in California. And yet, it's a sure bet that guys like that freeper voted for Whitman… and will vote for Romney if it comes to it.
